Ok well i have about $730 saved up to spend on mods.. all week ive been bugging a whole lot of people because ive been having trouble deciding what to get and differnt people are pulling me to this and that lol. I really want to spend it well and not kick my self on the ass later soo thats why i need as many opinions as possible. Currently i have cobb sri, twm bushings, cs inserts and thats it. What my choices were:

1) Cobb AP: For its multi funtion use like live data graphs cuz i dont have a/f, boost gauges and of course the gains from the stg 1+ map and that i dont have to worry about voided warranty.

2) CP-E Catted DP: welll duh the racecar... hehe added sound and big amount of HP (drive2)

but ive been looking and ppl say that i should replace the bpv? i mean iono if i should replace mine because nothing seems out of the ordinary and i cant really tell if its leaking boost becasue well... i dont have a boost gauge...
soo my 3rd option could be:
CS race pipe, cpe mm (the inserts are fine for now but i hear they wear out sooner or later), Forge bpv..... and either one of these 3 to complete it. A) Cobb or H&R springs (h&r for the lower drop and aggessive look), B) Dash hawk (cuz i dont got gauges lawl), C) Short shifter... i like the current shifter but i hear that ss feel smoother and shifts alot faster and makes u feel like ur in a racecar (wrc)(poke) lol

Before all of this i really wanted to get the ap because it sounded soo nice and my friend has 1 in his subie and zomg.... but when i finally got enough money saved i did some research and heard the release sucked but iono much about the new version....

I just want a mod that will keep me zomg happy for a while .... and wont make me look back and say "jeez i shoulda gottten that other thing instead" because after this i prob wont be able to afford modding again until i haz a job lol.... if ur wondering i got money, its mostly from my graduation... i have more then what im willing to spend but i need those to survive the girlfriend (spank)

Can i haz some of your opinions? (help)

oh sorry for the low post count i usally post in the other forum (attn)

get ap so you can monitor things.. then you can go about changing parts. my next mod will be AP, but i do have hks bov in recirclation mode, turbos stays spooled better between shifts unlike with stock.
i would invest also in a intake, perferably get the cobb one to use AP.

i'd wait until you're ready to do a fully turboback to buy the downpipe, you're just opening up the first part and bottle necking the rest. a cobb sri, a motor mount of some kind, and some of the twm shifter base bushings is the best way to start, and some springs if you want (i hate the stock ride height of this car.)

CS motor mount inserts, some kind of cold air intake, shifter bushings (short shifter is your choice and I have no opinion or experience with it) and maybe a mid pipe.

This car is already really fast so I am not sure how much faster you want to get it. What do you do with this car? Do you drag race it? X-Cross? If you just burn up the highways or whatever, what I mentioned previously should keep you happy for a while.

I would only buy the Cobb AP if you were looking to do a full exhaust and they had the full race tune available. Otherwise, it's going to be an expensive gauge.

light weight wheels. I just got a set of rpf1s and there is a noticable difference in acceleration. And I will probly see better mpg as well.

Might be a bit more than $730 for wheels my rpf1s were $248 a piece.

Yeah that sounds about right from what I've been gathering anyways. I'm thinking about getting the same ones jbiird has the oz's. They're not super light at 18.4lbs but I'm sure they'll be a nice improvement over the 24.3lbs stockers. Oh and they aren't exactly cheap $1342 set of 4... :(

Everybody has those oz though so I got the enkeis since they are lighter and cheaper and more origional. The enkeis do make you wheels look smaller though but overal they are such a nice looking set of rims they make the car look way better than stock.

Whatever you do don't get the cobb ap that thing will not give you hardly any hp at all. If you are set on engine mods then I would get the corksport dp and a mid pipe. But I would say go for light weight wheels myself.

are the cs downpipe/midpipe catted?

non catted down pipe. The whole porpse of the mid pipe is to remove the second cat. If your turbo has bad seals you will smoke when you remove the cats.

P.S. I am not sold on the whole leaky bpv myself mine seems to hold just fine.

Yeah I know, trust me I would have already had one on my car if this wasn't the case. Don't get me wrong it isn't 100% likely you'll need a turbo replacement but the odds that you will seem to be pretty high. Hence why I suggested having $$ set aside just incase.

Well from what I've gathered it's not really that the seals are weak per say but that they need a certain amount of back pressure regardless (To drastic of a deviation from this will result in a smoking turbo, ie; catted dp) I'm just not willing to take the risk and find out the hard way.

I did.. eibach sportlines, trz poly motor mount, turbosmart bov, cobb sri, and then the rest of the money went towards my CPE catless DP/MP.
