What tires should I buy?

Looking for something in the $150.00 or less range. 60% highway driving, 40% local.

I'm not exatcly loooking for something that will last forever, more concerned about superior dry traction and cornering for those aggresive moments!! Tires like the Faulken Azenis and other competition tires are too extreme for wet traction. Wet traction has to be at least decent.

I did some research and the Nitto NT555's and the Nitto NeoGen's seem to be a decent tire for the price. Anyone have any expeirence with these?

I'm staying open to all suggestions.

Thanks

i got my nitto INVOs for 147.00 a piece. Theyve been GREAT so far. The neogen was my second choice. Good luck

falken 452's are what i have and loved them. im due for new ones in the spring so well see how it all pans out then for my new tires.

I have 15k miles on my 2008 speed3. Tires still have some life left but are worn way beyond what I'd expect for such low mileage. I understand the rubber is fairly soft, due to this being a high performance car.

Question, how many miles did everyone get on the factory origional tires?

I love my Sumitomo HTR z III's and they have beat almost every tire compared to it. Also, it's only $110 a tire, so it's easy on the pocket book. check them out.

Less than you. ;)

I probably only have about 10-11K miles on my RE050As, and there's maybe 1/32-2/32 of an inch left of tread left before I hit the wear bars. I've been running my Kumho XSs since early December.

What about the new Goodyear Eagle GT's? They car about $120-150 and have good reviews. Anyone they these yet?

Are you sure he had those particular Eagle GTs?

They JUST came out last Fall, IIRC.

They're not the same tire as the old Eagle GT II or Eagle GT+4...

Those are the ones, He just bought his vette towards the end of last fall, he runs too many miles on that car! He drives it over 100 miles a day half the time.

So he replaced the OEM tires with those? You're saying he's gone through two sets of tires in a few months? Or did he buy the Vette used?
