What size tire?

What is the biggest tire that I can fit on a P5 with a 17"x7" wheel with a 42mm offset?

What is the biggest I can fit on a 16"x7" wheel with a 42mm offset?

Would it change anything if I ended up getting ION springs?

7.0" +42 and higher; Barely making it
7.5" +48 or higher, the +45 still worries me with this width on a 205

I have 16x7 right now for my summer wheels. I am getting a set of 17x7 soon for summer wheels and then using the 16's for autox.
