What shade of touchup paint for the 2019 CX-5 GTR rims?

:
2016 CX-5 Touring AWD
2019 CX-5 Reserve AWD
My wife got a little rim rash on one of the wheels. Probably about 1.5 inches. Not too noticeable except it's shiny. Has anybody done any touchup? What color did they use and where did they get it? Does the dealer parts dept carry it?

Thanks.

No idea on whether the dealer carries wheel touch up paint, but I would suggest a drug store nail polish as an alternative. You'll have to look for a shade that matches well, but nail polish is pretty cheap, and in my experience, quite durable.

I don't think there's a color code for wheel touch up. Here's what you need to do - take off the wheel, bring it ion to Home Depot and have their computer match it. Okay seriously, just get a silver Sharpie and call it a day. You'll know it's there, but no one else will give it a second look. My black Sharpie has fixed many boo-boos, not necessarily on a car

It's the shade of color, kinda smokey silver looking almost dirty. Regular silver is just gonna stand out on the rim. Kinda whats showing through now.

A possible option is something called VHT Niteshades. It's an aerosol tint spray, almost like a tinted clear. You could buy a can, then spray it on a hobby paintbrush or even a cotton ball or cotton swab, then apply it to the damage. It might work?

I am using the dark gray paint pen, Mazda oem for the car paint. Using it for mine GT 2018 pizza style dark grey wheels. It turned out great match.
May be for the gtr see if mazda silver paint pen would work although I think it may be a bit too light but at least would cover the white primer.

Signature Wheels are painted in Hyper Silver (3- stage paint - Black base, translucent silver color then clear). I believe the GTR use just the standard Silver paint on most wheels.

Dealership does not sell touch up paint for the wheels.

Since the area is so small, you'd get away with using some paint to touch it up like Duplicolor however it will not be a perfect match but given they are wheels should be good from a distance.

I have the machine grey touch-up paint that I got when I took delivery of the vehicle so I'll give that a try. I think it would be better than flat out silver.

I would test it out first on a paper as the machine gray is a bit on the dark side. Thats the pen I used on my darker GT 2018 wheels.
