I have to clear some things up and update some people on the current doing. And what better way than with a nice rant? (eekdance) lol
So here we go:
Everybody knows I have a general dislike for my Mazda, everybody knows it was NOT my first choice and I got it purely out of an unsure feeling on the vehicle as a whole since nobody I knew ever owned a Mazda.
But what most of you don't know is I actually did file a Lemon Law with the state of California. I filed it a few weeks ago and it seems that Mazda is full of such stuck up asshole people, they wouldn't even respond to it. So I'm now in ficunkg arbitration with these bsartads because they wouldn't honor a legitimate LL claim. The big problem is that I knew this would happen, it's not like they want to take their car back and give me back my money but they could at least freaking respond to the Lemon Law claim I filed.
I mean, I had 3 typed pages of problems, all relative service records, everything that I thought they should know including my experience with the service loaner they gave me for a few days to test against my car that had one genetic problem (the engine ticking incredibly loudly on start up) and every other problem with it was different than my car, and I even included a note that stated specifically that the service records here were only for the time Mazda would accept my car for warranty, there were many times the Mazda dealer didn't even check in the car because it wasn't authorized to be worked on. (hence warranty being voided on half the vehicle ultimately about a month ago) I EVEN INCLUDED A FKCIUNG LETTER THAT STATED HOW I EXACTLY FELT ABOUT THE CAR WHICH WAS POSITIVE!!! And these stuck up jerks that run the stupid ass company didn't even have the decency to respond to me...so now, I'm in arbitration and I have to present my case to an arbitrator while Mazda listens to get a damn outcome. My arbitration date is sometime in June (like the 15th or whatever) but it really is frustrating that such a regulated thing doesn't even get a response.
I'm not bringing you to court right away so why the hell not act professional and send back a response worthy of my respect? Because now, I have lost all respect for this company and will stop at NOTHING to get my money back for what I paid on the vehicle alone. Not including my extras I put in, so it may go back to Mazda with no air filter, no mirrors, and no scuffplates. (which, if anybody wants could be up for sale sometime within 3 weeks)
Once again, thank you Mazda for showing that owning your vehicle was worth wasting my life on. Glad I could waste my time with it.

This is more or less my feelings on the subject and now the people that wondered when I was going to file a LL claim have their answer.
I would like to add that I thought the car was going to be built better than this, I expected on owning this car for at least 10 years and putting well into 150,000 miles on it but I was a little moved when I realized finally that could not happen. So this is my situation now, I don't expect many if any replies on this subject, I just wanted those of you who are tired of me to know.

Thank you, everybody.

Well I must say, for hating your vehicle so much you sure did put work into it.

And did you ever follow up on the claim you filed? I am unfamiliar with such laws, but I am sure there has to be some sort of legal involvement before you take them to court.

Also, if you did file the claim corrently, this is not a MAZDA problem. This is a dealer problem. I would not lose ALL respect for the company, lose respect for the dealer since most Mazda dealers are in with other companies as well.

You car may have issues, but that is the way it goes. I mysteriously had my alternator die after going through a car wash...so sometimes you just have to get over it, fix it and move on.

Of all the 3's out there you seem to be one of the few that are unhappy.

To familiarize you with the process, you basically have certain criteria to meet before you can file a claim. I was at the dealer on record 36-40 days in 10 months. That was about 20+ trips, I called Mazda direct 3 times concerning the vehicle as a whole, and had a visit from the district manager. I also had brought the car in numerous times for the same problem (numerous as in 3 or more as stated by the lemon law). The actual process is: you file it online, they send you a packet that you have to put all service records and relevant information to your claim in within 10 days and send it back, then the BBB gets the packet and send it off to Mazda who has 14 days to reply to that or it turns into an arbitration which you have to meet by mail, telephone, or in person with an arbitrator (third party "moderator") to come to a solution which could be a new car for yours, your money back, or getting it fixed for sure on one try or they give you your money back for the vehicle. I'm in the arbitration process where I have to meet with Mazda and the third party to come to a solution, already filed online, got the packet, and sent in the relevant information within the 10 days, and that got sent to Mazda and they did not respond within 14 days so it moved to arbitration.

At this point it is a Mazda problem since I sent my claim to the BBB who sent it to national HQ who did not respond within their 14 days.

If it was just an alternator that mysteriously died and got fixed I'd be fine with it but it's little creaks and rattles all the way up to my brakes flaking out that nobody will work on because Mazda invalidated my warranty on that system/my transmission that was also invalidated and then there's the way I've been treated on the phone, with the district manager, and at all 3 dealers I went to that aided in this whole fiasco. If it was something small, I'd be fine with it, but it's a much larger picture covering almost every aspect of the vehicle which is not ok.

I had big plans for the car, I bought it for a reason, I like the vehicle itself...but I could do without the disrespect, the aggravation, the unresponsiveness, the crappy build quality, the constantly being talked down to, the everything that came with the car. This is probably why I'm the most unhappy 3 owner on here.

I thank you for your reply.

Well it does sounds like you got dealt quite a bad deck of cards. I now understand your position and it would really suck to be there.

Hope everything does get sorted without too much more trouble.
Best of luck.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm hoping that too.
