I'm new to the wonderful world of DashHawk. still playing around w/ it and thought i'd ask what you guys monitor. I know i want to have

1. engine coolant temp
2. air/fuel ratio
3. vacuum/boost

and after that i'm lost. could you help a fellow MS3er and clue me in? What are the most important #s? Pls no fancy abbreviations, spell it out if you can. Like I said, i'm new to this + i'm 50 yrs old and definitely not a gadget wizard....

Many Thanx & Happy Friday! (drinks)

well you can set up the screens as much as you want, you can do it in the unit, or on an old PC if you have one
you get bored after awhile but it is a great tool
I have a 2 value screen for boost and mph, thats where it usually stays, and if the font was larger it would actually be useful
then in the 4 values, I have em grouped. one with fuel, one with temps etc

for data logs,.... rpm boost knock afr and mebbe wastegate

I have mine set up for AFR, boost/vacuum, Fuel PSI, and KR most of the time. Occasionally I'll add BAT and IAT.

I fiddle with mine every so often, never quite content with what I have on my primary screen. But I currently monitor the same ones you do, plus the ones Brad mentioned... KR, IAT, BAT. Sometimes I'll mix in fuel mileage (just for laughs, as I can never get it calibrated to anything near what seems reasonable) or engine load.

Yeah, load, I may start looking at that one, if I get any cuts at all, now, with the fresh plugs, it will be load

Bill, do you know any private garages I can take baby to for a wink wink 60K service.? and get a nice reciept! I need one more service til the end of the warranty, and don't feel like pulling the car apart for that

These are spread out in fours on about 4-5 screens.

Temps: Intake Air Temp, Boost Air Temp, Coolant Temp, Ambient Temp, Bank 1 Cat Temp

Air/Fuel: Long Term Fuel Trims (LTFTs), Short Term Fuel Trims (STFTs), Actual AFR, Boost / Vac, DI Fuel Pressure

Other: Knock, Load, WGDC (wg duty cycle), abs throttle position, rpm, speed and run time.
