What other CF accesories would you like produced?

I would actually like to see less CF products,
I mean the hood and downforcers are cool.
But I just dont get it, I see some people with CF hoods and then an entire kit on their car, or some CF products and then an enormous bandpass sub enclosure in their trunk... If the point of CF is to lighten OEM parts for lighter weight and improved speed gains, why the extra weight for body kits and subs, I mean if anything, dont add a body kit, it adds no performance, just weight...

I guess it goes the same for rims. Why do people put 18-19" on when 15-16" would be more of performance gain. Or, what's the point of painting your valve cover or headlights. It's mostly for aesthetic mods.

If I seriously wanted to save weight, I'd just make a fiberglass or cf shell.

Oh and having a cf hood on a fwd car is kinda pointless. (what I mean is, it more or less just looks nice.)

If I remember right GRM did an article about wheel sizes and stuff...

They found that the bigger wheels had better handling characteristics but weighed more, making times a little slower in some cases but still faster than the "lighter" 15" wheels.

So, it's a trade off on the wheel thing. But I do see what you are getting at. That's why you get some Centerline Dominators...A 13 lb 17 inch wheel!

Definately a MP3/MSP replica wing in CF that bolts in the factory location.Even if just the upper section was cf with the posts being paintable to match your car!

I would think it would be more benefitial on a fwd car, since most of the weight is consentrated in the front, taking some of that away would get you closer to 50/50 weight distribution, and better handling.

First, the cf interior kits from DG are not cheap overlays, theyre complete replacement molds. Second, inside is more of a appearance mod.

Second, simple physics applies to the cf hood. it doesnt matter where the hell the cf is or what it replaces. the simple fact is youre removing weight from the car, therefore requiring less power to move the mass of the vehicle.

i just like carbon fiber... so thats that, i think it looks nice and the light weight feature is a nice bonus for heavy things like fenders hoods and trunks but the interior peices should all together not top over 15-20 pounds and it looks nice. im more form over function... if you wanted a sub 10 second car, you should have bought some other car.

Yes Carbon Fiber Fetish!!!! Gotta love it, I would like to see a carbon fiber rear bumper extension for the sedans. I saw a pic of a black sedan at the Sevenstock meet and he had one.

Also I would like to see a carbon fiber piece to replace the black one on the top of the stock grill.

Also I have a question Rodscali. Does the fenderflare kit fit on the sedan or is it strictly for the P5? I was just wondering since the Wagon is a little shorter than the sedan. Thanks man.

We all know they are not cheap , but from what ive seen, they are just overlays. not full replacements. and you get the ultracool dg logo on every piece.
