What modding needed to make 0-60 in 5 sec?

I'm looking into getting a MS3 and really want either the white or gray. Went to the dealer today and saw the white in person for the first time (did not have gray) and it looked great.

Question is for those familiar with mods, what would it take to make the car a 0-60 in 5 second or under car that is still reliable with no turbo smoke? What components are needed and the approximate cost?

I'm considering other vehicles but keep coming back to the Speed3.

Also what is everyone averaging in gas mileage?

I honestly don't think achieving a 0-60 in 5 sec or under is a major issue with power (an extra 20-30hp should do). To be on the safe side I would suggest going with lighter wheels / tires, intake, mid pipe, and upgraded rear engine motor mount. With just these mods I believe it's doable with a good driver.

Cost: $2000-$3500 - Wheels and tires would be the major contributing factor obviously.

Gass milage seems to be: City (18-22)
Hwy (24-29)
