i'm with him. i used to hate it, but it's grown on me and I really like it. And some of the female singers are HAWT!!

I voted for coutnry sucks, but there still is some that I will listen to. The kind of contemporary mainstream country that usually gets airplay is utter s***. I can dig the old school stuff, and some more alternative country like mojo nixon style stuff, although some would classify that as "psychobilly". There are some great local bands in austin I have seen that I would classify as semi country, but they rock like no other. Scotty Byram(sp?), W.T Special and the Tallboys, Jane Bond(hottie(wow)), Onion Creek Crawdaddy's, and many more that I didn't remember the names too becuase I was drunk on Lone Star(the National Beer of Texas). yeah, thats why the trees in Ga lean to the West, b/c everything west sucks, and if you are from Tx then you need to post a pic of your horns otherwise people are going to get the wrong idea and think you are the other thing that comes from Tx.

Some of the real old stuff is pretty good. I stopped listening to country about 5 years ago when everything they played could be classified as either easy listening or "i ran over my dog, my wife left and set my truck on fire, and my can is empty.

These days I listen to mostly trance/progressive trance and older rock/alternative. The crap that's classified as rock on the radio these days makes me nausious.

well, i listen to just about anything...but yeah, country sucks...how much talent does it take to write some of the s*** they play...seriously. i think my child can come up with better lyrics than "those" people...and then there's the music. ok, if 90% of the genre's music is G, C and D chords, you've got issues.
