What kind of Greddy BOV is this and would it work with the Speed 6.

MazdaSpeed 6
I have been searching through threads here and google and cant come up with a straight answer so I figured I'll just ask you guys.

My friend gave me this Greddy BOV that came off his Subaru STI, forgot the year I believe its an 06. My question is are they compatible with the speed6, they look very similar.

I tried comparing pics and it looks like a type S bov from Protegegarage. I see that the bov can be tuned to soft or hard settings with the turn of a bolt on top, and it can be used in recirc mode.

So my questions are, does it fit as it sits? Do I need to get the recirc adaptor from SU, or any other parts to make it work?

Here are some pics maybe someone can tell me what model this is.

Any help is appreciated, and if this has been covered before, sorry I couldn't find the thread.

Greddy typeS ,it's old school and is a great piece. You may need to get the ms6 specific flange as I'm not sure if the suby one will fit. It is set up for recirc and as long as the hose will fit you should be fine. I had one of these on my boosted civic and it is still my fav sounding one out of all the bob I ever had. It even held boost better than the typeRS that I replaced it with.

Well tried installing this yesterday, the flange is way off so I need the ms6 flange, also the big hose didn't fit. I called SU and they said the recirc fitting is discontinued and out of stock.

Would I be able to attach a second hose that fits onto the BOV and the stock hose without issues??

is the inside of the big tube threaded? I can't remember...if it is I may have a recirc fitting for you...can't remember which bov it came of of.
