I only seem to get around 250 miles on a tank 'til the light comes on driving mainly in the city and I only use 94 octane. And this is mostly staying out of boost and driving pretty conservatively.
I think I could maybe get 30 hwy, but who would drive a speed6 so slow?? I mean, I'd have to be doing like, 60. Sorry, no way. They're born runners, and they look like "Grrr, get out of the way!".
i don't think you need a prius if your getting in the 30ish
guys just because i get in the 30ish does not mean you have to sell and get a prius i have a GT 500 putting over 500hp @ the rear wheels my sunday car my speed 6 is my day to day work horse and i don't know about were you guys are but down here in south florida FHP ain't playing around on the highways you do 30 over the speed limit and they can take you in to the slammer .it's a new thing down here to try and stop all agressive driving we are the worst in the nation . and trust me i do get to enjoy my speed 6 but most of the time i leave it for weekends track days @ homesteadmiamispeedway or autocross events .
I average about 19-20. Either the more miles I get on this car the worst my mileage is or the gas sucks. When I first got it I was getting about 24mpg.
Just because you get good gas mileage doesnt mean you want to drive a prius. Some of us have routes where we don't have to stop. When you use your cruise control, the car gets pretty good MPG. Personally, I have a lot of stops all city driving. I get about 23mpg, before i moved to the city. i was getting 29mpg highway.
My Cobb AP shows 32mpg 6th gear at 62mph. I just got my cobb the other night, havent been on the highway yet to see what it averages at 70ish. Other things can cause poor gas mileage besides your driving habit -- such as the tune or wheel alignment?
