Can someone please tell me what the sensor in the front grille attached to the hood latch is

I think the temp sensor is actually the piece right in front of the power steering radiator line. Got a pic of this thing? I can't see how its near the hood latch

The sensor is for when you lock your car, if your hood is not fully closed it lets you know by a audible warning. try it next time...try and lock your car with the hood up. you'll know what I mean then

Yes this is correct.


The ambient temp is in the lower grille offset to the driver side a bit.
