What is the lowest temperature recorded on your Mazda5?

-28*C = -18*F Damn, that's cold. Now, while you may hold the current record for coldest temp displayed, when's the last time you were able to register a 1xx*F temp :p

ill take a picture in my MS3 this summer to show u about 110 with 100 percent humitity

Cold! Hate it..

I have only seen it at around -20's .. Can't wait to see it at +20's.. Went up to north NB and the roads had been very slushy and bad.. Here is a pic. The car handle good, since I had a subaru before this car..

yep its offical you guys are ******* nuts to be putting up with that cold weather!

hey it's not so bad once you are used to it. There's 30 inches of ice on Clearwater Lake.... the trout are biting..The mighty Saskatchewan River has 24- 30 inches of ice and the pickerel are biting. Light a fire, sit in the ice shack and fish. Nice way to spend a day.

It's soooooo cold here!

My cat literally went out the door and back in in a micro second.
The engine starts great but it does that slow "chug-chug" sound before it starts.
Checking the road report on CityPulse24, nothing but accidents on the roads, even the salts are not working.
Got -16 on my AMB but that's after being out in the sun and out of the wind.
Worst of all, I'm getting split skin around my nails, arrrrgh!

Just hit -20 this morning, wind chill of -41, took 30-40 seconds to run on all four cylinders and my clutch took 10-15 seconds before it would engage, but I still got to work on time!

Heated Seats are the best for this kind of weather. It was -31c showing in you M5 few weeks ago in Calgary. It was so cold.

Yup, it's been pretty cold here, 1F this morning. The real cold like this usually doesn't last more than a few days here. I might see a lower temp as the winter continues.

The last couple of winters have been milder than this one. I actually remember waxing the Honda and Acura in January last year.

On the other hand, our fall has beautiful leaves and summers are great (70-80F). I rarely need to run the A/C.

Bbrrrrr....

We were ice fishing last weekend and it was cold. My display showed -32 in my Mazda, but my buddies Exporer showed -37(headshake. Either way the next day it got upto -20 so starting it after sitting out on the ice all night was tough. I'm sure the oil didn't start flowing for a few seconds and the poor thing made some awful banging and crashing noises as it stuggled to keep running. The clutch wouldn't engage for about 5 minutes and it is the only time I've seen frost on a head liner.. Thats cold.... At least it made it through all the snow on the lake... Had to drive through 3' drifts on Sunday to get off the ice. So you know the 5's pretty good in the snow. If you look at the GPS unit you can see my 5's on the lake (that's the blue area)(rockon)

Lowest Temperature Measured

What is the lowest temp anyone has seen on the external temp guage in their Mazda5? I've seen -32C, but I know that it was actually -38C out. I had been driving for about 50km with the guage saying -32C all the time when stopped at a friends farm. His temp guage outside said -38C and his Toyota Tundra said -37C

So, what's the lowest anyone has seen? It appears that my guage quits at-32C, does yours quit at -32C also? (When it's that cold, I guess who cares what the actual temp is) Also, what's the highest temp measured?

Just wondering.

Going through the thread it seems that no one has shown anything below -32, so I'm thinking that's as cold as they show.
