What is everyone paying for these?

Hello,

New here. I am very interested in owning a 7. I currently lease a Mercury Mountaineer and my lease is up within 3 months. I am shopping around for prices, but still intend to lease my next vehicle. Was hoping if anyone would share there purchase information. I'm especially interested in knowing what a resonable monthly payment would be for leasing a GT with Tech option.

By the way, I'm from the Boston Area if that helps.

Thank you.

Sorry, I didn't lease, I purchased. And I can't even help you there, because I got the S-Plan price (which is at or near invoice).

HOWEVER, keep an eye out in your local ads in the upcoming months. The 2007s came out in last spring, so I'm guessing the 2008's are around the corner. Dealerships will probably be offering some pretty sweet lease deals to clear their inventory. Good luck! :)

check MAZDAUSA.com there are always lease specials on the CX-7 more than purchase incentives. Best of luck I hope you can get into one soon :)

You can deal on them.....don't let them tell you any different even though it's a newer model. Go in asking for invoice and find a place that will be close to it....I got the Employee plan but before I knew that I could, I already negotiated invoice prices with 2 dealers.

Whats the best way to approach this considering it will be a lease. Should I tell them what I am willing to pay and let them figure out the numbers? What is a resonable monthly lease payment for a GT loaded? I'm paying $397/month for my 2005 Mountaineer lease and I def. do not want to pay any more than this.

Here in houston people are willing to deal. I went looking specifically for a sport model so i can do some mods,ect... I got mine for 20,700 roughly. And i got the 6.9% from mazda. For even the base model sport, its equipped nice enough for me especially for the price.

Sorry to thread jack, but whats the S-Plan?

I just saw an ad in this morning's paper. One dealer in the next county is selling GT's with Moonroof/Bose/6CD package (msrp $28,480) for $25,880, plus up to 3.9% for up to 60 months. I was going to hold off until March to buy my CX-7, but I think I may go and check this out. I might bring the ad to a dealer closer by first, and see if they will match. Plus I'm looking to add on a couple of extras like the Preferred and the Sirius. I currently drive a low miles (<25K) 2003 6i that I'd be trading in.

BostonAmy, I'm looking to buy, but they're also showing lease prices of $299-$399/month for 27 month/27K mile leases. The only difference is how much you put down.

The sale is on through January 31. You gotta love end of the month car sales competition in the winter in the snow belt! (I'm in Cleveland)

Don't tell them what you are willing to pay unless you shoot them low and see what they come up with. Go to a site that figures lease payments so you have a idea. Actually negotiate the car price first and then have them figure a lease payment and work them down from the number they give you!

yeah don't ever tell them how much you are willing to pay.. because you could have probably gotten it for less than that, it's just extra in their wallet to make up the difference

i was wrong...my paperwork said 21900 is what i paid for a sport model, fwd, with no extras. I think it was a pretty good deal.

Don't bother with the dealer unless the discount is in the $3500-$4000 range OFF MSRP.......the dealers are sitting on these things, slow sales. I would suggest sending emails to several Mazda dealers in and around your area and see who discounts the most.......play hardball......don't settle for less than $3500 OFF MSRP (shoot for $4000) and I would LEASE IT. If you buy it, you'll have to find someone to buy it from you some day.......lease it and you can return it to the dealer in 2 or 3 years.
