part of me is sad because I consider that a little low
part of me is happy though because if I don't sell it for more by next Saturday, I can go out to CarMax and sell it easy-peasy

They gave me a copy of the Autocheck. Because I called the police when my door got all f'd up in that hit and run, they reported it to Autocheck. Bummer. The appraiser guy said they did a great job on the respray though. It was hard for him to tell.

I am relisting my car for $18,500. More realistic I think.

My thought is to see if I can sell it for $18,500 in the next week. If I can't then it's off to CarMax for $17,000 on Sunday and anyone interested can buy it from them for the $22,000 they'll list it at...

if it were my car i'd say yes...but i have an 08.5 with over 55k miles

and then again...i don't know how strapped you are to get rid of it. i think carmax's offer was good, but private party will always offer more. when the middle-man (dealer) is cut out of the equation you make more and the private buyer pays less.

when i tried to sell the jeep privately i was just about to sell for around $8.5k. they backed off and i couldn't wait anymore so i just dumped it at a carmax for $5k

Installed my Matt Damond oil catch can. Took longer than I wanted it to due to Mazda's lack of common engineering sense. I'll give it a few days and see if anything accumulates.
