What have you done to your CX-5 today?

A/C recharge -- Pressurization showed it's holding the charge fine. Charge was down to a fraction of an ounce of refrigerant left. (No wonder it had been struggling with cooling.) Recharged with fresh HFC134a refrigerant.

*** Ahhhhh *** 🥶

Finally had a headlight go out on our 2016.5 touring. You would think it would've been one of the high beams that double as DRL's but nope! It was the right side main low beam headlamp (projector) H11. It lasted 9 years and 195,000 miles so 👍 I'm happy 😁 .

Helped out with a car show, got a unique parking spot at a government building in my city.

I just picked up my 2022 Carbon Edition 2 weeks ago after trading in my 2016 GT.

I swapped the pedal covers over from my 2016. Built my own android auto wireless adaptor with a rasp pi zero, and vinyl wrapped my front emblem. Just took the family on vacation and drove much smoother than my 2016.

Hah! Never even thought of that! Do you have any info links?

I'm interested in the how, but not that I'll do it, as I already picked up a commercial one for like $15.
Here is the link to download the kmage image, it is basically pre built. I changed a couple security settings. GitHub - nisargjhaveri/WirelessAndroidAutoDongle: Use Wireless Android Auto with a car that supports only wired Android Auto using a Raspberry Pi.

I had a donor pi zero w as I work in IT. And spent $6 on a case and mounted inside the arm rest

well yesterday got the notice on my mazda app that one of my tires was low.....My wife had been out on errands and when she got home she said the tire light was on but she said all the tires seemed pumped up...I checked the psi and one tire was at 20psi so I jacked it up and spun the tire and sure enough there was a screw in the tire...pulled it off and dropped it off at Costco (where I bought them) the screw was fairly close to the edge of the tread (1.5" from the edge). tire guy said he was not sure if it was too close but would give me a call back when they found out..
I have 14,000 miles on the tires and they are barely worn so was kind of hoping they would say nope and just give me a new one under their warranty policy but they were able to fix it..
The app is pretty handy I guess because looking at the tire you could not tell it was low...

What’s the point of an app that gives you the same info as the dash light?

well I was at home and my wife was out and about so like I said she looked at the tires and they looked fine to her..if she had not mentioned it to me I would have still went and checked and found a problem before the next morning when she would have came out to a completely flat tire and much easier for me to change it than for her to...but yea for most situations the dash would be fine but still suck if you parked your vehicle for a couple days and were running late and came out to a flat instead of being alerted to it before you were actually running late I guess.
