What have we done to the Poor FS Section.

I'm jumping on ForceFed's bandwagon. I hate navigating the f/s section now. While at work I like to log on quick and do a quick browse to see if anything new of interest has been posted. Well no more quick looks now....I have to navigate through multiple sections and honestly it's a PITA!

How about we Get a "My posts" Button at the top.
We have far TOO many Useless buttons up there.
Lets actually put one up there we can use.
It will give us quick access to our threads without having to subscribe....which I have never quite figured out anyway.

Every other VBB Forum I am on has a "My posts" button and its nice, and used....so why not us?

I liked the old setup better... I am constantly on the forums and seaching for parts for friends who hae all sorts of cars and not just a protege. Surfing the fs section is now a royal pain...

People are already having a hard time selling parts due to the ecom without people not wanting to browse through 30 different subforms.

I think the protege fs section should just be one section for mp3/pro/p5/msp if you do decide to continue with the split.

So, i've been thinking about this, because I know it's not easy to figure out the best way to organize all this stuff. What if the FS sections were just by model? No subforums except for a separate WTB section...the rest is just a confusing maze. For instance, like the Protege FS section is now, minus the Mazdaspeed sub-forum and plus a WTB subforum. Protege, P5, MSP and MP3 FS all together in one section. There could be a 3 section that includes Mazdaspeed, a 5 section, a 6 section that includes Mazdaspeed, etc. The number of subforums is the issue here. Eliminate the "general FS" wheels and tires subforum as well. If I am looking for Mz3 wheels, I'll go to the 3 section. If I am looking for MSP wheels, I'll go to the Protege section. Maybe the general section could still exist for true universal parts and cars for sale, but not much else. That's my solution. It needs to be simpler, not more complicated. Most of us want to see as many FS items as possible at one time. It's better for the buyer and better for the seller. That's my $0.02.

I know my AMM just came up for renewal....and if the FS section doesnt get better.....I wont be renewing as its just doesnt seem beneficial.

Not only do the members who use this site not like this New setup....Its also going to cost the forum to make the change as well.

I think they should seriously think about this action IMO.

Can we please at least separate the WTB threads out...it's really annoying having to sort through them. WTB should be the only child forum IMO.

Since it's the same motor, if the guy is a big enough DeeDeeDee to know the turbo manifold won't work on his NA car, should we have to suffer?

i still think the general fs section is a little jacked up.

i liked how the old section was set up. people just needed to make better titles so you could skim. now, you have to click a lot if you want to look for good deals.

the new section might be better if you are looking for something specific, but if you are just skimming, it is almost too much effort.
