what happens if you dump the clutch?

Anyone that "launches" with traction control on is just a silly billy.

Get out on the street and WOT all the way up to the limit with "DSC" on
now
Do the same thing with "DSC" off.

Its not a huge difference but the traction control nanny is always taking a little bit away from you.

That said, when you hit "DSC Off" you arent turning off DSC but only traction control. Unless you are AutoX then just turn off the traction control.

I have been testing DSC on/off a lot. At the 1/4 mile track , the 60 ft is worse, but overall 1/4 time is better with DSC OFF. With DSC ON, I can get better 60 fts, but 1/4 time is slightly worse (5 hundreths of a second so far). If I am racing someone I leave it on, so there is no chance I will be stuck at the line spinning tires.

why the hell even bother trying to take off from the line.. we all know that it is not the car's forte. most people at the strip usually rev to 2500, and feather it out from there. its really hard to not bog or spin, i've given up trying to perfect it.

the only thing you should dump is your girlfriend (angel)

clutches get engaged, which makes them technically fiancees

Seems to really depend on how much you spin. I tend to leave it off and modulate the throttle because I have had some 1-2 upshifts where the car will dump the boost completely going into second because of the amount of wheel spin.
