What exhaust company in everyone rockin'??

I'm thinking about installing an exhaust system but I'm not sure what company I should go with. I want it to be a good performance upgrade and at the same time sounding mean with a rumble (stock is just not cuttin' it). So what exhaust company is everyone rockin' (rockon) ??

are you going to upgrade to turbo? or stay NA?

if you stay NA then you might think about a 2.25" pipe system, and if you are going turbo then you should think about 2.5"

I think the Corksport exhaust is going to be the best value at $389 (the P5 version is boing to be available in September)

the people who have the sedans really like theirs. its a 2.4" system

the OBX one is very nice 2.5 all SS and its got a nice tone. beware the tip is HUGE and sticks out a bit but it sounds nice

Racing beat sounds great unless you really want to sound like a ricer then go elsewhere.

the mazdaspeed axle-back. Dealership calls it the mazda sport exhaust. Beware..there are 2 versions. One for the sedan which is longer and the p5 which is shorter.

Racing Beat is the most quiet of the aftermarket Cat-Backs. If you want to sound[EDIT:near] stock, but still get a little gain in HP, buy one of those.
IMO, For a nice low snarl, JIC is the best, followed by Magnaflow.

I think it would be great if someone could post up a sound clip of racing beat . . . that is one of the exhausts that I have never actually heard. There's lots of magnaflow sound bytes floating around here, but none from RB. Both systems are practically identical and give the same gains regarding hp but I think RB gives better torque. Anyways, I have the dynos of both the RB and the Magnaflow, I think RB seems to be a bit better. Plus magnaflow does not fit as good as RB and tends to rust for several people. RB is a perfect fit supposedly. Probably what I will get if I can hear a sound clip first.

magnaflow is one of the cheapest ones, and it sounds pretty good.

The RB has a nice deep tone to it. not buzzy or harsh. just a nice sound. sounds great all the time whether low or high rpms. looks good too. it isnt a coffee-can muffler like lots o ricers have
