What do you guys think?

No, I just tried to get as deep as possible into the cracks and crevices. The wheels sat in the position pictured above and I sprayed from overtop of them. I figure with shadows and everything you can't see that deep into the wheel.

What color did you with? And your car is black, right? Let me know if you need more help!

wait you essentially spray painted your wheels? that's insane...I also find it insane that they look as good as they do. What a fool i was for pricing powder coating options. seriously though, your wheels look sick.

Difference is, and I'm not diggin on ya, JR, but those WILL CHIP. Powdercoating is a MUCH tougher coating.

This is the truth. At the same time, I anticipated having to paint them a new color every winter, but I think they will last at least two, maybe three seasons...which kind of makes me sad, because I wanted to do blue next winter... :( LOL

I bought the same engine paint as you JR Grabber Green. My car is white!

White is awesome, and will look good with any color wheel. Good luck, and post pics when you are done. Gonna look like Twis (the current MOTM on the front page)! I love his car, it will look great!

Thanks! Right Now I am debating whether or not I should continue to paint my wheels due to I was driving this morning and it was about -32 degrees out with the windchill and my rear end slid out under me and I hit a snow berm! The berm cracked a hole into my back right part of my bumper! I will be driving around with a broken bumper for at least a month because I don't want ot fix it in this crappy weather!

Yes!!! I finished painting my wheels! I will post the pictures tomorrow when I get the chance! I must say that I am very happy with how it turned out and is quite a birthday present to myself!
