it's too much subaru for me...i love the subaru hood scoop but it needs to stay on a subaru...with our car it just doesn't seem to fit...it breaks up the smoothness of the car for me

You can see the undertray in at least one of the photos on the site.

It looks good. I might prefer a different kind of scoop on the Protege, though. It doesn't look bad but I think others could look better. Maybe the twin NACA style ducts on the Pontiac hood in the Tuner hoods photos? I'm not sure. I don't suppose there's a choice of duct/scoop styles for the hoods.

Sorry there is only one design for now. We played around with various looks and this seemed to be the most efficecien ans cosmetically pleasing.

I love that hood, but i live in canada unfortunately....my dealership wants $1499 for the functional hood......i think thats insane for the possible 2 hp it would produce. The hood wouldn't affect an Injen CAI at all...definately not worth it....its too bad that the tuner hoods were for off-road use only, or else i would totally get one just for looks. I can actually afford that one:rolleyes:

I have customers who decided to get the Tuner hoods for road-use. It all depends what you're looking for here is a pic of the inner and a multiple view.

i think the hood is not that bad. it looks a little too much like a subaru hood. also is the vent functional or is it there just for looks??

That looks pretty frickin sweet to me, but is it actually going to do any good hp wise or is it just for looks? How much would it cost ot get it painted?

The scoop is functional, unfortunatly a ram air system cannot be evaluated on a dyno. the track is the only way at higher spped. But definetly getting cold air to the aengine never hurt with high performance air filter and exhaust.

Just an idea...You make want to make an optional addition to that ram-air system for the turbo guys are here..if the ducting was a lil longer a to shoot the air onto the turbo manifold, it would help a bunch of people around here..Our manifolds tend to get very, very hot under boostand this would be a great products to help that...All you would need is a little extension piece, plastic or something, that could cost a small, additional fee...Just a thought...
