What do I get after the MS6?

Mazdaspeed6 GT
Hey guys,
So the lease on my car is up in June, I need to start shopping for a next car.

I'd like to stay with Mazda, but im not really attracted to anything, after having a the MS6 everything seems kinda "less"

I love the styling of the new mazda6 but its a bit too big, not sporty enough and not to mention the price tag. the same price I could be very comfortable in a more luxurious car.

The Rx-8 is a really sexy car but I feel it lacks power, and could be troublesome to use as a family car. (getting married in July)....

The mazdaspeed3 has all the factors I am used to and comfortable with, but from the exterior I dont think the car looks serious enough to go meet clients with. Its a bit too young looking

and the other downfall is the fact that non of them are AWD! :(

My cousin works at Audi and was able to get me an amazing deal on the new 2011 Audi A4 B8 Quattro.

Its luxurious, sporty looking, has all the bells and whistles ( bluetooth, xenon+ LED, Ipod int, no navi..)

but it only has 211HP 258TQ which means its going to need a lot of work to get it to the power im used to in my MS6...

The BMW 335xi is way too expensive

and I was even thinking of getting an old M3 but driving that in Montreal winter is suicide !!!

What do you guys think?

Snooky~

depends... are you moving to another lease or looking to purchase?
I say if your lease had the option to purchase, why not keep the MS6 for the longterm!!
Or in the very least, search out for a good MS6 purchase...

If you simply want to move on, but wanna stick with AWD at a reasonable price, get a WRX.
STi is expensive, Evo is obviously not something that would fit for "picking up clients".
Audi is worth it in terms of luxery, but definitly not for trying to make power in the long run.

IMHO? easiest option is to purchase an MS6. :P
best of both worlds, luxery/power without having to do TOO much work off the bat.

your right and i deffinatly am considering it but the way I set up my monthly payments for the lease we increased the by back of the car in order to drop the monthly payments... the worst part is that I took such good care of this care as if it were my own that who ever buys it after me is getting a real gem. only has 40 000km on it! I love my car, Im going to see what I could do to keep it but I gotta say its tempting to change up a bit, i've had the car for 4 years...

not new but I'd like the milage to be not too high and to have a warranty still good

If you can find a gently used one, what about an 06 or 07 Subaru STI Limited? All of the power and awd of the STI, but with leather interior, no wing, sunroof, etc.

I think thats a pretty good idea, but I can't stop thinking " how did this person drive the car?"

a car like the STI is not usually driven delicately lol

Thats true, but I think a lot of the Limited's are owned by people who don't mod. The same thing can be said for MS6's, as well.....I bought mine used with 30k miles and have had zero issues (near 39k).

i was thinking of getting a used 2006 S4 but V8 gas-gusler plus all the good deals I find are ones with really high mileage and no Warrantee... all I know is I would like to have

AWD, SPEED, LUXURY, STYLE.... Basically an MS6 lol

I bought my car january 2009 with 17000 miles and now it has 53000. That was in March. If I was in the u.s. I'd be pushing 60000 lol. 0 problems with the car

Look into certified pre-owned 335s from BMW. A friend of mine picked up a LOADED one for $29k with 20,000 miles and is in immaculate shape.

I'm going back to a coupe, but if I were shopping for a sedan, I'd look at a Fusion Sport, new Mazda6 (g/f has a V6, it's nice, no manual though), or even a VW CC.

Subaru Legacy was the other car I was looking at when I bought the speed, and the new 3.6 gets you 256 HP, AWD, and plenty of "luxury" features (heated power seats, auto climate control, etc) its about the same price as the speed6 GT was when it was new.

New C-Class from MB...my mom just picked up a 2010 E350 4matic a few months ago...by far and away the nicest car I've ever sat/ridden in. Seriously.

You can find them with a 6 speed manual, V6, and you can find them with 4motion as well. If you want to go to Europe, don't forget MB :D

Im not a V8 fan myself but an underrated 400hp mustang GT seems awesome . . . Intake, exhaust, headers, and a supercharger kit . . . look out.

The subaru wrx's are the best bang for the buck car in terms of modding I think. Faster / lighter than the speed 6's too. The styleing is hit or miss though. I like them.

The new WRX's are finally starting to come around, both in styling and performance, but they're smaller than the MS6. If size is important, you might want to look at the Legacy, but, IMO, the new ones are ugly.

why not look into getting a Ford Taurus SHO. 300+hp TT V6 AWD.
plenty of room, comes with leather, and you can pick up clients with out them thinking if you are a serious person or not.

365hp, potential for more, and lots of room to boot. Pricetag is a bit high though.

Mercedes are a way over priced piece of crap. Not worth it at all unless your between 50 and 70 and lazy. BMW's and Audi's are really awesome cars, but I'm tired of seeing them though and their starting to become a ridiculous status symbol too. The owner also tends to develop and ego too.......The brand spanking new STi's and WRX's look badass. I really like the Hyndai Genesis coupe 3.8. It got great reviews and its rare. But I'm wondering what they can do with it for 2011.
