Happy to give you a free quote on getting one thru our service. If you can find a better deal locally, great, but at least you'll have a barometer and an easy option for one through us if interested in saving the hassle of shopping/negotiating with dealers. DM me if interested. That's good to know! Thank you. I'll be looking at purchasing a premium plus model so I have most everything my grand touring had. So you think the discounts could be even higher on those? Yes, definitely will be a cash buyer.
Dealer markups are really getting out of hand these daysjust to share error on pricing on a dealership website.. lol View attachment 380838
@Ninja_Matt is the pro here.I have received my first offer from a dealer on a 2025. Is it ok to post this here for feedback? Thanks.
"$37,445 MSRP -$750 dealer discount -$750 Owner Loyalty -$2,500 customer cash- ------------------------------- $33,445 +$299 Doc fee +6 30-day tag ---------------------------------- $33,753 out the door, including the first year maintenance!"
As @zx10guy has shared, this isn't a great discount. At a minimum you should be getting 5% off MSRP, not including rebates. Your doc fee is reasonable at $299, so this helps a little bit compared to some high doc markets. May I ask what state you are in? You are welcome to DM me with your ZIP and I can send you a free quote on what we can offer thru our service. I got over 15% off msrp last week on a new select. 4 dealers within 38 miles of me. Closest showed little movement, 2 wanted my business. Didn’t visit the 3rd, but they all knew was going there next. Very quick negotiations, they wanted to move cars.
Yes, $2500. Then dealer came down $2600. Msrp $32200. $27100 negotiated price, $29.5k otd.Are you including the rebates/customer cash from Mazda in that 15% discount figure?
No tax?So the test drive is done. The 2025 definitely feels more refined than my 2017, but I sure do miss that car.
Breakdown of the “offer of a lifetime” (sales manager’s words, not mine). 2025 premium plus in platinum quartz. This is the same dealership where I bought the ‘17 and had all maintenance done so we do have an established history.
MSRP - 38325
Dealer discount - 2500
Incentives - 3250
Admin fee - 399
Lien fee - 9 (only if financing)
Temp tag - 6
Total - 32989
As I was preparing to leave he verbally threw in another 500 off. I stated I had another cx5 to look at tomorrow, which is true. I’ll post the numbers from that one tomorrow.
38325 MSRP? for a Premium Plus N/A ? Isn't that high? My previous CX-5 was a 2020 Premium Plus and MSRP, if I remember, was around 35K. My current 2025 Turbo premium was at 38250 MSRP.So the test drive is done. The 2025 definitely feels more refined than my 2017, but I sure do miss that car.
