Very interesting reading about some of the older cars mentioned here.
Let's see, in order of ownership:
1970 Toyota Land Cruiser - FJ 40. Badass vehicle. Not fast, but could climb mountains, literally. 4-Speed non-syncro tranny. You better be completely stopped before shifting into first!
1981 Pontiac Grand LeMans - Very reliable. Had a sweet smooth ride. Bought at 70K, sold at 200K. Purchaser drove it another 50K.
1981 VW Rabbit(Diesel) - What I would REALLY like to say cannot be said in polite conversation. Biggest POS I've ever owned. Will never own another VW product. Serious issues.
1985 Pontiac Grand Prix - 305 V8, really nice car. Was going to be my first "project car" until a neighbor backed over it with a 22-foot U-haul truck. I was in shock for days.
(No car period - 1981 Yamaha XS 650 - Great bike!)
1995 Chevy S-10. Heavy duty suspension package, Vortec V6. Kept until 2003 @ 175K, gave to son who promptly totaled it. Great vehicle. I should have kept it..
2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. - 155K (Wife's primary vehicle) Another what I consider to be "awesome". Very few problems, truck still looks brand new. We'll be keeping it until it dies, and then I might just rebuild the engine and do a LNG or Propane conversion. Body & paint is excellent 7 years on.
2003 Spicy Orange MSP #1291.

My daily driver. Still 100% stock. 130K miles. Getting on to the time where I think I need to be considering replacing all the crappy stock plastic piping with hardpipes. No major issues. CEL is a constant source of irritation.
