What are Canadians Paying for 2016 cx5?

It seems like we aren't getting anywhere with our dealer for a better price other than the current deal which is a $750 signing bonus. For the GT (with the signing bonus) they quoted 37,005 plus tax...and 1.99% for 48 months even tho the build and price online says 1.49% for 48 months. With the Tech package he said it would be 39,000 plus tax.

We would also really like the satellite radio because we are in Saskatchewan and our radio stations are terrible. But our salesperson told us the only way you can get satellite radio now is to buy the tech package. Last Septemeber we were close to buying the 2015 and they said we could add it for an extra $600 but that's not an option with the 2016's. I'm not sure if the tech package is worth the money. He also suggested getting a third party satellite radio install but I am not crazy about having something clipped to our dash. I don't know if it would look good.

Does anybody have the tech package? Is it worth it? Would it add much to resale value? We will probably sell in about 6 years.

I bought my GS FWD Soul Red CX5 this afternoon. (idhitit)(breakn)My deal was better than I expected. I was given the Mazda discount of $750 plus another $1500 from the dealer. I'm in Milton, Ontario, just west of Toronto. This is my third Mazda from this dealer, Achilles Mazda. The best experience ever. No BS, best price right off the bat.

Wow I wish! The best ours will do for us is the 750 plus an extra 300 off. We only have one dealer in our city and I really want a cx5 so don't really want to piss him off by asking for too much haha. We already walked last September when he wouldn't give us a better deal than 1000 off. I think they realize they are the only dealer that isn't 3 hours away. On their facebook page they post pictures of people who have bought vehicles and there Have been tonnes of cx5's sold lately. So they know they will have no trouble selling them.

I was quoted 2016 CX-5 GS AWD for 30,640 + GST This includes all discounts. I also have a $500 coupon for visiting the auto show last weekend. So I can get it for $30,140 + GST. Includes Mazda $750 factory discount + $1500 dealer cash. Choice of any colour. Block heater included. The dealer is in Edmonton area and the price was quoted yesterday over email without me even stepping in to the dealership.

I am trying to get another $500 off and if that happens will close the deal.
