All about the long-range remote start. Haven't gotten the chance yet, but when snowboarding, my friend can start his from the lift before the last run of the day.

The other stuff like windows and sunroof are mostly just for the sake of laziness.

Sidewinder (DEI) auto start feature is awesome! Car is cooled down on hot days before ou enter. Or you can keep you car running with the doors locked and alarm armed when you leave the car to go to 7-11 for a little while.

I'll never forget it - went for a weekend trip with a buddy of mine, we're getting off the plane walking down the gate corridor, and I'm punching buttons on my cell phone like crazy. He asks me "What the HELL are you doing?" I said "You'll see."
We get to the car, it's running, warmed up (like 30 degrees that night) and ready to go.

The point is to describe my all time favorite alarm - Clifford Avantguard III with PageMate. PageMate is basically a pager receiver you call the number and enter codes that correspond to certain commands, like "start" or "unlock". I wish they still made that, but I guess everyone's going OnStar style now.
