if you say so

Corky states that 300hp is capable with our motors with proper engine managment. I am not an engineer or designer so I cannot compete with corky's statemets. But if this is true then I am in the realm capable of this horsepower(i.e. engine managment aka flyinmiata ecu) I am taking a wild guess that 300hp is capable at extremely high boost levels...roughly in the 16-18psi range. I seriously doubt that our motors can reliably attain these hp numbers at that boost level and thats the only way I see this happening on stock internals. Perhaps a tec3 system and a t3/4 turbo at 12-14psi can attain these hp levels but with little drivabilty due to the large turbo. But if Mr. Corky the man himself says it can be done then there is hope. How reliably is another story. Trust me I wont be aiming for that 300hp mark. I will wait and see until somebody else blows there motor up, to determine our maximum boost threshold![]()
