I would love those pictures if they wouldnt look so much HDR. I believe that if someone can tell that the picture is taken in several shots (with several exposures), its not a correct use of HDR. (only my amateur opinions)

But, i love the angles, the car, the surroundings... Great.

(sorry my english)

i totally understand what you mean. there's a lot of overdone hdr images out there, and i try to ride the line between not enough to too much. i guess i overdid it this time.

Nice background !!
I hate the snow !!!

snow rocks. yay snow fun!

photoshop?

if you mean hdr, then sure. each image is made up of multiple exposures. the first one's out of 3. the second is made of 5.

but if you mean fake compositing, then no. this is how the scene looked if you were actually standing there (and with hdr, how the human eye would actually perceive it).

and that's the only way those shots were gonna work with the backlighting like that....awesome pics, dirty car or not!

how do I do "HDR" with a Canon 20D?

i'm not sure if the 20d has it, but you can either use AEB (auto exposure bracketing) or do it manually. what you'll want to get out of the camera is basically a really underexposed shot, a regular exposure, and an overexposed shot.

the rest of the work is done on the computer, using either photoshop or photomatix, and there are some tutorials online on how to combine the images together to create an hdr.
