Well I no longer have my Protege5.

04 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon with the 5spd named Beverly.
I no longer have the Protege5 as of this past Sunday, I would have posted sooner but I have been swamped with work this week. While she was an excellent car I was worried about another mechanical failure after the tranny going, and she was already at 42k miles with the warranty expiring at 50k.

I traded off the P5 on Sunday for a new leftover 04 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon, in Glacier Silver over light grey. This car is a blast, she is a V6 with the 5spd stick. She is fully loaded including the Bose sound system and moonroof/6CD package, lacking only the sport package and leather(and automatic ofcourse). Thankfully there is a button to turnoff the blasted traction control, however I hate having to push the dang thing every time I start the car. Can't wait till I have 1k miles on her to light up those tires, she should do a much better burnout than the P5 could.

I bought her on Sunday with 12 miles and she just turned over 500 miles tonite, man I can put miles on a car in no time. While this car doesnt handle as well as my P5 did, its nothing that a set of springs and some performance tires can't cure.

I love this car, can't want to start upgrading and moding it.

:D

Yeah my good friend would do stoplight wheelspins all the time in his 6-spd 260hp Maxima SE... then he was like WTF my clutch burned out-- the stock clutch is really weak! He got it replaced under warranty somehow, but he wanted me to agree with him with a straight face. He also thought the stock tires sucked big time b/c he had to replace them at 12,000 miles. He was fond of showing me how great his aftermarket rear sway bar worked at 50 mph around turns. Yeah...

Well, congrats on the Mazda6 man.
