so weird issue with my hid fogs i installed 2 weeks ago..

it takes me two tries until the fogs come on.
i turn the switch once - nothing happens.
i turn the switch off then back on a 2nd time and then it starts up normally.
any idea what's up?

and will this create a problem in the long run?

thanks for the help guys!

(It started after the night I left chuck e cheese and turned them on, drove for about 10 min, turned them off when i got to my house, then left the house 2 min later and turned them back on, which is the first time i had to do 2 tries until they turned on and they have been like that since, could that have started it?)

i have the same issue with 1 of my low beams from DDM, but it only happens occasionally, not all the time.

dnt think itl create a problem, prob just be annoying as hell

i havent installed my lows yet but thats the same problem im worried about. i dont want that night to come by when i have to drive home with no lows or with only high beams. has this issue been with you for awhile now? i hope you never had to drive home without low beams at night!

no they have never had the issue of not coming on, after teh 2nd time they come right up. and its only my drivers side, my passenger dosent ever do it. I also have HID fogs as well, but never have had an issue with those. Just get in touch with DDM and ask them about the issue, i think it could possibly have something to do with a harness you may need.

i have the relay harness. i think its the wiring. something may have moved because it always turned on 1st try before the night i left chuck e cheese.
i think i might double check my wiring. i hope i didnt blow anything in the relay harness!

if you blew something, dnt think it would cut on at all. yea just check your connections forst, solid ground, good power source(im guessing you have the one that goes to the battery?)

is this the raptor kit? You dont need the extra harness. Wont burn up anything and you wont get these kind of hastles.

i've had this problem before but i had a different kit.. and plus it only happened to my right fog. after a while the other side started doing the same thing. i changed the fuse and it's been fine since
