Ok I have a friend with an 08 WRX (I knwo I know). Long story shrot. He thinks his boost gauge is off a bit. If I plug my DH into his OBDII port and read vacuum boost will it read ok off my settings and then work fine in my car again? I knwo they work on a WRX but I want to know if my settings or anything will be messed up from plugging into another car.

nope don't do it!!!!!!!! your car will try to run like the WRX if you do. it will take all the WRX settings and try to implement them into your ECU!!!!!

I'm totally joking. it will be fine

It just reads the data...If it's a Mazda Specific reading, though...you won't be able to see it (unless there is the equivalent "Subaru Specific" reading)

Rumor has it once the Dashhawk has tasted Scooby blood, its mind becomes corrupted and tries to spin the driveshaft to the rear wheels. And before you know it, it's taken over your entire car.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Yep. my neighbor had it happen to him AND I read about it on wiki

Funny thing is we did a few HARD pulls in his car to watch the boost gauge and his car doesn't feel nearly as fast as mine. I'll roast his ass at the track if I can ever get traction.
