Hi. :)

Hey guys,

Ya was running in GS class.

Only mod so far (which bumps me to STS) is the injen cold air intake.

Upcoming mods are...

Racing Beat Springs
Some aftermarket shocks (probably the first company to do a full replacement, the koni's require cutting).

Also looking to drop unsprung weight through some nice forged wheels.

weight reduction is a mute point on most daily driven passenger cars....if you try to drop weight you'll either take out so much that your car is uncomfortable, noisy, etc or you won't take out enough to even notice a difference. This is more often the case. The one thing I know for a fact about auto-x is that it's more important how you drive than what you drive.....or what drives you...or some slogan. Work on handling first, brakes, then power. If after all that you're still not fast......go to school. When all else fails start pulling stuff out!

1) Already went to school. Evo phase 1. Might do Phase 2 in the spring. Very informative.

2) Stock rims are 23 lbs. One member's already swapped to rx7 rims (16x8) which are about 5-6 lbs less per wheel...and the difference is VERY noticable. Car accelerates faster, is more nimble, and brakes better.

3) Only talking about unsprung weight (wheels/brakes etc).

4) I don't know why I decided to use numbers.

5) Will be working on shocks/springs when racing beat comes out with them and after the massive snow winter the east coast is supposed to have this year.

:)
