I thought I read somewhere that they will always throw a code but I could be wrong. They're definitely a nice looking piece of work though. What's the advertised gain?
Bump on this. Just wondering if you did get the mani, and if so.. Did you notice a gain in power? I was looking at weapon-r and it looks like the updated they design of the manifold
the engine code is due to a sensor not being installed because the weapon r does not have a place for you to install it, drill a hole maby ? and even if you drill the hole will the sensor be happy with the reading it gets? your better off just reseting the code after a start with a scan tool
yes you will throw a cel if you don't plug in all of your hoses.. make sure that every hose that was connected to your stock is connected to your new mani.
There's only one sensor that attaches to the weaponr intake manifold, it's the MAP sensor, and yes it fits perfectly. The VTCS and VIS sensors you just leave plugged in and zip tie out of the way. Additionally, you will need to provide vacuum to the VTCS sensors as well. Only other modifications are removal of the EGR nozzle port thingy, which requires a 22mm open ended wrench. Also you need to adapt the brake booster and purge valve hoses to fit the fittings on the manifold with different sized hoses.
Thought I'd add a video in cabin of how the intake manifold sounds for you guys. This is the intake noise, you can't hear the exhaust very well over it above 5500 rpms (revving from 5500 to 7300 here)
