alright. i am trying to reach 200whp on a budget. I got these pipes since they were cheap in cost but i heard they were decently made. I didn't want a fmic, i am not going above 10psi. Either way... i attached a pick. They are not bad. my only complaint was they didn't label any pipes or have any instructions ( didn't need instructions but if they labeled the small pipes hot or cold it would be easier ) so i had to try to match everything up. It wasn't difficult but would have saved me 15 mins on install. They work good and the welding and construction of the product is nice.

finally someone posted pics of these!!!! looks good, i think i may buy those in the future
thakns for posting

i do notice a difference with them. The car accelerates a lot better now. My friend and i both agree it sounds nicer during accelerating also. If someone does go with these i would triple check the clamps to make sure they are all tight. the bottom of the intercooler is the main issue. The weapon r boots they include to connect the pipes are too wide so they place a section of boot inside another one which causes them to slip appart. hard to explain but if someone buys one you'll see what i mean. all in all a good set for the money.

looks nice, i didnt even know there was a weapon R hardpipe kit for the msp, and also did you make an intake with some of the piping too?

i have no ideal.... it would be nice if we knew where to get these flanges and if they could be welded on.

Thanks. Thats a weapon R intake also. I have seen some people flame the weapon R products. And i agree with some of it, not all there products are spot on but the intake IMO is a nice intake and the hard pipes are not bad either. There are better products out there but i think i paid 140 for a new intake and i paid 259 for the hard pipes shipped.

as for the diam. of the hard pipes.. i honestly don't know. they look about 2.5 in. Super light weight since they are aluminum. The sound when it spools up is nice. the only thing i might do is look into nicer silicon pipe connectors. The ones they come with seem.. odd.

i've been looking for a SRI other than the one offered from perrin or cutting up a CAI. Where did you order it from? Plus most intakes are the same its just the filter that matters IMO

I found mine on ebay new. you just need to wait and watch. one pops up with free shipping every now and than cheap. mine was drop shipped directly from weapon r

if you look at the options under model there it says "protege 2001-2003 2.0L M/T only" sounds like a MSP but i'll try to contact them and find out for sure

yea i found some on ebay but I dont like to buy stuff off of ebay, I hear to many horror stories

I bought my Weapon R intake off ebay. It was free shipping and included a free ram air kit, filter cleaner, and a free breather. I also got a flyer in the box from Weapon R saying if I sent a couple pics of my intake installed they would send me another breather filter and more filter cleaner for free. I bought mine from hracing1234 on ebay. He had great feedback, the intake was shipped directly from Weapon R and I got it in like 2 days. Best purchase ever off of ebay. Product is nice, you have to play with fitment a little, they don't mention about overflow tank relocation, but if you read the Injen intake install guide you can figure it out pretty quick. Overall, I like it and the price was good. Down the road just swap out for a K&N dry filter before the foam one wears out.

I've bought hundreds of items off ebay and really only had 1 or 2 bad experiences. I just make sure I buy from long time, reputable sellers with 98% or higher feedback.(breakn)
