Wax vs Acrylic vs ?

Please be kind, I am a newbie.

I've never given a sh*t about exterior care of my car before the MS1 Speed came into my life. I always just took it to the local car wash, let them do their thing, and twice a year I had it 'detailed' and waxed.

What is the best product set for keeping this beautiful Black Mica
finish looking it's best? I've heard various things:

-Show cars use acrylic compounds to keep the shiny and new look with minimal care forever.

-Wax is protective.

-Zymol is the only way to go.

I am an apartment dweller, and the rules are no car care on the grounds, so I'll be using a detailer when I find one with a good rep.

Please, might it be possible for the experienced participants to comment on appearance care?

I just used Zymol cleaner wax and it brought out all the mica in my black mica P5 brilliantly. As far as wax v acrylic I couldn't help you. I'd suggest doing a search (it's the best way to go initially). I'm sure others will give you their input on what is best. There are a lot of differing opinions and some great stuff out on the market but I'm sure you'll find the answers you need. Welcome! Oh, and great color choice!
