If anyone has seen it, please call 630-801-6605 (officer Lindsey)
or at lest post it here.

Actually I sold it last month, and it got stolen from the new owner.
I'm kind of sad for him and want to help him find it... not to mention I hate the idea of some lowlife tearing it appart.

The chasis was a dx, but the car did have a built engine/trans, vtec and all.

I don't have all the details, but the cops said it was stolen from West suburbs. They said that an Ipas registered it taking an exit on Meijer.

Even if they don't find the car whole, I'd appreciate if you could keep your eyes open.
The wheels on it were SpeedStar RS-8, which are extremely rare as they were never sold in the states.
If someone start sporting a set (even if thy're resprayed in a different color), it'll be pretty obvious where they got them from.
The wheels along sell for almost $1-2K for a used set since they've been discontinued for a while.

There are a lot of other interior and exterior parts that I brought from europe myself, and are not exactly all that common around here, even though they look almost stock (because they are stock overseas).

How did they get your end links? did they just take them off your car while it was parked?

Thats one clean hatch.
Most of the ones I see are rusting in the wheel well.
I'm sorry but, I don't think it will be found.
Its most likely in someones garage.

If it's in someone’s garage, and hopefully still in one piece,
there's still some hope of finding it.

I hope the dumbass thieves didn’t just strip it.
This hatch had no rust what so ever, not even under the car.

i could swear i saw this car on craigslist in the chicago section or it might have been just the rims. im looking again right now.

One of my buddies had his civic jacked the other day they found it two days later with stripped interior, no bumpers, no seats, and i think the steering wheels was missing too.

those are popular cars because everyone wants to tune em for cheap so stolen parts sell quickly with no questions asked.

That's sad, but true. I came across many deals that seamed too good to be true when I was working on it, and ended up passing on them because I don't condone theft.
Pretty much every part I had on the car, I had a receipt for.

The car was on craigslist more than a month ago, when I was selling it.
However, if you've seen it recently, then it's definetely something to look into.

i feel u ..........same s*** happened on me.....im pretty sure mine's worst than ur.... good luck to u. ppl with knowleged please return the car...!!!

The worst thing is, some of the people on these sites, people we might consider friends, are the thiefs.
