i can't believe I missed this thread.......you car looka awesome!!!! i love the RX-8 rims.

I love black cars, and they look so sharp when clean (tough to keep clean though). I always say I am never getting dark cars but usually do.

Weight of wheel/tires

I would get these rims for my P5 in a heartbeat, except for the weight issue. Supposedly the rims/tires weigh 53 pounds each (I asked a guy who was trying to sell a set on here). Thats a 20 pound increase from our stock ones. Too much unsprung weight for someone who is trying to build a fast(er) car. But I love the look.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong on the weight.

Was mine, now SMUGs?

Bumper was repainted along with blending on the fender and hood.

Its got the CAI, MP3 axle back, Eibachs, Fog light mod ( so they can be on by themselves, and don't go out when the highbeams are on ) shaved moldings and Alpine TypeR seperates up front, and raw TypeR 6.5" woofers in the rears.

damn that is so clean.....maybe I should take my door moldings off too! How long did you have your car before removing the moldings? I'm a bit afraid to take mine off since I have had my car since about 5 months after the P5 came out. I wonder if the adhesive would be real hard to take off or the paint is a different color. :/

calipers have been painted, door lock pins are getting shortened this weekend and then in spring the autoexe front end goes on. and tunes are about to get real loud.. Thanx again 03mp5. i hope you upgraded to somthing nicer than my new ride cause its sic..

I'm digging this thread up from the grave because I just purchased a set of RX-8 rims and I'm hoping Ryan(03P5) is still out there. Since he has PMs turned off I'm posting here.

What brand/model tire is on this P5? I see that the fenders were rolled but were spacers used in the rear?
