was vanhelsing really that bad?

i was able to watch the full movie preview version (yes) and i didn't really think it was that bad his crossbow was a little far fetched though

Hell no it wasn't! Two words: Hugh Jackman. Oh, and another two words in case you're not convinced: Dracula's Brides. Wait, then there's: Kate Beckinsdale... and that dude who was in LOTR: Return of the King. Yeah, some stuff was far fetched but it was great kitschy entertainment.

I wish... here's why he's not just human:
1. his name is Gabriel
2. Dracula referred to him as the 'left hand of God'
3. affiliation with the Church (dispenses justice on their behalf)
4. Dracula said that it was he (Van Helsing) who sent him to hell (read: killed him) and took his ring

Horrible...I thought I was going to walk out. The worst was the cheesy ass lines. Kate Beckinsale is hot though. Wait for it to come on the Sci-Fi channel.
