Well I was driving around 60mph (to save gas) and all of a sudden I hear a big pop...looked on my windshield and sure enough it was a big rock imbeded in the windshield....I was like...why? Anyways I went over a slight bump @ 60mph and sure enough it made it web outand it got bigger..again I was distrought and disapointed...just my luck. (You all know that feeling) and I just got finished washing the car yesterday. The car is still under warranty and was wondering if that kind of thing is covered? Has anyone had this type of situation? What did ya'll do? Ya'll used factory warranty? Or extended Warranty? Did ya'll use insurance? I heard that most insurance has something like that and falls under the vigalanty owners of their car. Something about the insurance will cover crack chips, door dents, etc. to prevent angry owners to chase down the "suspect" and not cause any safety concerns. Anyways, any input is welcome.

Your warranty will not apply. Comprehensive coverage applies. If its webbing and growing then you can get it replaced by filing a claim. Some states mandate that no deductible applies to glass breakage. So depending on your state and coverage deductible, it may be wise for you to just call a glass replacement company and pay out of pocket.
