want to tint...know any reliable places?

I am posting this in the MD thread because tint laws are a lot less strict than D.C. (which is where I currently am), but have NY plates so I won't get ticketed. can somebody give me a reliable place (preferable close to D.C.) where they got their tints done for a reasonable price and how much they were?

I wouldn't count on that. You can still get ticketed for not following local laws even if you're registered elsewhere. Not trying to tell you not to do it, I'd just go as light as you can stand so as not to attract attention.

also since you are in D.C. close to me, do you know a good place that won't rip me off to weld on a new muffler?

tint

place near baltimore, about 45 min from dc, D & L window tint. on pulaski highway. they do great, got mine done there.

i got mine done at details details in rockville. no complaints

Tint @ Winner's Tint in Rockville. They did a very nice job on two of my cars.

Muffler work at Meineke in Kensington. Looking at their site-specific page on the Meineke website, they've gotten a lot of customer service awards unlike the other Meineke locations near me. I've only been there once and it was smooth sailing.

Still got my buddy who tints

I did d&l for 35% and the three year no fault insurance. which means near the end of three years im keying the s*** out of my tint so i can get brand new put in

D&L is probally the best in the aera (695) also they have a place in parkville, idk about down in the dc area.
