man i guess i am just sol with the thing. the bad thing is that its a $25 piece from dealership. this is ******* gay.

wait - how did the "pump" **** it up? mine came right off the stock pump no problem, and reattached perfectly to the walbro. it seemed like a pretty damn solid piece too, so .. what gives?

call beau...that thing is thick as hell i cant imagine it being torn :( i bet hell know what to do or what the problem is.

I had this same problem. You HAVE to replace it with a new one. It's it's torn, cracked, etc the fuel pump will only make it worse(High Pressure pump).Do you have a part number that the dealership gave you for the $25 piece?

yeah this is the second one i have to replace...gimme a sec i have to get part number from car...

dude if you find a better solution let me know cause if i dont wanna have to but a new one every 3months.

i am guessing the pump but theres alot of people that havent had this problem. so i dunno.the sorry part is that a regular hose will not work. well atleast didnt work for me.

Just wondering, how did you know that it was torn? Does your car start running like crap or something? Does your car start running lean?

Dave

it took alot of turns to start and it ran lean at all times. engine would almost die at times. when i wanted to move it wouldnt wanna go. took forever to get moving.

okay...i took it off and there actually is a little slit at the top of that rubber piece...its not big at all but im wondering if something like this would cause the car to act the way it has...

it runs really really lean, can barely run unless i rev the sheit outta the engine...the slit is really small but im wondering if under pressure, it just gives. it looks nothing like your picture but the small slit actually makes me think...

where did you pick up the replacement piece for that? thanks for the info

yeah thats how it starts, little tear. next thing you know the b**** is torn to crap. what i did is i got a piece of rubber hose that is about the same size and put some electrical tape on it. it was a fix i had to do since i was about 2hrs away from home. lits ghetto rigged together but its been working for about 2months now with no problem. i have already gone through 2 of these fuckers. there is also a ring clip thing that one of my friends is using. i dunno if he got it from beau or if it came with the stock fuel pump assembly. i think there is a pic somewhere. nope cant find it. maybe beau found a better way of fixing this problem.
