waiting for spring?

i was just wondering how many of you put your cars away for the winter? i've had mine parked in my garage since the dec. 1st and the wait for spring is killing me. probably middle of march when we get a couple of nice long rain showers to wash away all the salt and crap before i'll pull it out. i've got to move to a better climate. anyone feel my pain?

yes I feel your pain....we do the same thing...mid march it comes out....

the wait just makes winter feel that much longer and the last thing i want is to make winter any longer than it already is. i'm in london, ontario not to far form you and exactly the same crappy weather.

I'm waiting for spring. I still drive it daily, but I have ugly steel rims and snow tires on. I hate it. But its such a good feeling to put the stock 17s back on. And this time I compliment it with a 2" drop. Yummy :D.

I only wish I had a winter that short I live in Canada and our winters are usually from NOV 1 to mid APRIL. Hopefully I will someday move to one of the southern States were it is nice and warm all year long

Mines been in the garage since NOV and im kinda feeling it..but the car has come out twice for shows, speedorama a couple weeks ago at Exhibition place, and its at the Canadian Intl Auto Show right now. Itll be out in Mid April to May 1 (Gonna make sure the roads are totally clean before it comes out). Im getting a good break on insurance with the winter beater i have so no rush.

To be honest im kinda glad when i look around and see done up 'ludes, civics, etc all covered in salt and looking crappy. I dont mind, plus i need till April to put my springs on (in the mail) and underbody neons, and i gotta remember to put in the kartboy bushings when its back on blocks after the show.

I hear ya though

everyone storing thier car did the right things...like

A full tank of Gas with fuel stabilzer in it, removed the battery or hooked up to a trickle charge ( I use a solar charger ) keeps the battery charged without over charging it. Move the car around to prevent flat spots etc

Well MD weather is suckin right now. I cant wait till the spring.....Warm weather, can do more work on the car....car shows Oh and then there is Carlisle (for those on the Eastern shore)!!

Tired of driving in snow!
