VTCS solenoid wires...

I have located the VTCS solenoid on my car, I just need to attach the wires to the ECU in order to get rid of that pesky cell..Does anyone know or can find out what pins the VTCS wires connect to in the ECU so I can hook them up? If I can get this figured out I will write a how-to for the Mp3 owners who want to do the ECU swap..

the solenoid valve wires come from the main relay terminal and go into pin 73 on the pcm (straight from the service manual)

hmm..the only thing that confuses me there is "wires go into pin 73"...two wires and one pin..

i'll clarrify - if you are looking directly at the solenoid (wires coming out the back of it) and the clip thing is on the top, the wire on your left goes to the main relay terminal D and the wire on your right goes to pin 73 on the pcm.

i dont know..im gonna try it tommorow and see if works...Im wondering if the cel will go away or if I'll have to clear it then it just won't come back..oh well..Im going to try it tommorow and we'll see what happens

YEA...now Im stuckk..there is no wire coming out of the harness for pin 73, so what the hell are we supposed to do? Is there a way to get a wire in there? If not, this cel will be permanent! NOooooooooooooooooo

i saw that on the ecu. I was thinking you are gonna have to strip the wire and push it in. im not sure how you would soilder it.

you'd need one of the pins....try an electrical store
