voltage stabilizer question

Hey guys.

Do you think I could ground the neg. end of the voltage stabilizer to the throttle body? In the instructions, it says " connect negative wire to neg. terminal of battery, or ground it. "

Correct me if i'm wrong, I'm not an electrician, but I would assume I could kill two birds with one stone here? Throttle body ground and voltage stabilizer.

Use one of the leads to ground the throttle body, not the negative terminal for the unit itself.
