VIN Needed !! Please Help

I need an MSP serial number please ! The salesguy who sold me the car isnt there and the people at the dealership say it's not the kind of things they give out over the phone and blablalba and i've been on the phone with insurance companies all day long, and most of them want the number before they give me an official quote.

I bought a 2003.5 MSP ... so anybody with a 2003.5 that would be ok with giving me his Serial Number would be sooooo cool =) You can PM me if you prefer or email

Have the dealership fax over the info to the insurance company. If you bought the car there, a file should be at the dealership about you. That's BS.

The dealership will call the insurance company for an insurance binder typicly. Otherwise just talk to your sales guy or look at the paperwork you signed. The VIN has to be in it.

Why not search for a wrecked one on Ebay and use that VIN?

Hey that thing looks like it was wrecked that certainly aint the same color yellow on that rear bumper but it says no prior damage.

thanks guys. I was at work and needed one like right away and since the papers were not finalized at the dealership, they couldnt just give me a VIN off of any MSP they have in stock. I shoulda made it clear

Hmm, im not trying to sound like a prick, but i would NOT give someone your VIN. Im not saying its a scam, but you cant trust anyone these days. And if they reported that VIN as stolen, it could be a hassle in proving ownership, or cuold lead to identify theft.
Be careful, and i hope you get a low insurance quote... 7 days until mine drops 50%!

KyRaceFan: i know, i don't think i would give my VIN to anyone, but i thought id still give it a shot. the insurance lady couldnt find the MSP in her list of cars and she kept saying she wanted the VIN so i started this thread while i was on the phone.

Insurance quote (so far) is not too bad ... but insurance companies are raping us around here because i live in what they consider part of the city (Montreal) even though it's not really supposed to be. ... anyway. I'll see how it goes

Whats funny about the dealership not giving out the vin number is that you can do an inventory search on mazda's website......and they give out all the VIN's in a certain dealerships inventory.
