Have called a local store about these and looked all over the internet, can not seem to find them for my 08 5 anywhere. Anybody know where to get them from. Looking for the in-channel type.

Thanx

I tried one of those aftermarket, and they were okay, got in contact with Mazda of Toronto and they had one that's open box so it was cheaper...here's picture of my non-oem and oem rainguards.

sorry about the crappy cell pics...installed Mazda 5 JDM Rainguards thanks to Mazda of Toronto(Canada), I'll take better pics when it stops raining, I had to do a quick install before it started to rain.

have to say the JDM do look better than the non oem's. How much were they??? I found some aftermarkets on ebay awhile back for ~$25, but have not ordered any yet.

I paid $79 (open box w/ a lil bit of scratch), but since I ordered it from Mazda of Toronto I had to pay their tax and shipping so it came out to $120, but if you want to get a brand new set its $169 ($114.95 for the rain guards and $35.00 for the shipping plus Ontario tax of 13%.)

WeatherTech usually sells the In-Channel visors...better looking in my opinion..There is suppose to be Very thin double sided tape on the In-channel to secure them so they do not fall out when the windows open..

Well that would explain it. The ones I purchased from the local Advance Auto (I think) didn't come with adhesive. But I still don't think I'd use those again because they squeeze the window channel and may cause problems with the window tint.

Ultimately, though, I personally won't use either kind because I don't smoke anymore and I don't like the added wind noise.

I'm looking for these, WeatherTech or JDM, for the '12 when they come out. I have vent visors on all my vehicles so I can crack the windows in the summer to air out them out without having to worry about rain getting in. The '12 has a nice two-step down power window function that opens the window about an inch when pushed once, all the way when pushed twice. I don't like the wind noise at speed either, so I put the windows back up with a touch of the button. Non-smoker here too!

I agree about the heat - especially in the sunshine capital. But we've found that a reflective windshield shade does wonders for keeping down the heat, even for our copper red. We use the collapsible type, and it tucks away very nicely above the fore-aft adjustment handle of the driver's seat. I also noticed that the wind noise increased even with the windows up with vent visors on our other vehicles.

is there any chance you can give me the website and/or phone# to get the rainguards oem from toronto mazda (jdm style ) ? its for my mazda 5.

I would rather have weathertech for vent visors. Unfortunately, weathertech doesn't have vent visors for mazda 5.
