Im working on that also for our forums. As soon as I find the template and redo the settings, Ill pass along the info to enrie. Also Derrick,Imight call you to give you some on the phone basics on the new layout since your an admin here, and in our forums as well.

Ah~ I like it!

Though, I don't like it how the frame of this new board limited the text. In another word, everything is squeeze in this middle veritical column. I like it the old version where it's full screen. Any way to adjust it?

I'll add that to my to do list.

I like it a lot better (vs. all crammed in). There are only two things that I would like to see revert (a little) back towards where they were:
1. Avatars on the left side of posts (it takes less scanning for my eyes )
2. The recent threads list on the "Mazda Forums" page

Thanks for the update I think this'll end up much better than before people are just gonna have to get used to it.

Okay, for 1), I'll look into it. For 2), notice I added a "home" link at the top. Click that to get the new version of the home page, or "forum index" for just a list of the forums.

Don't forget, there's a "new posts" button at the top, that shows far more info than the smaller "latests threads" on the right. But the "latest threads" are there on the main page, that's the main difference I suppose.

i don't like it, but mainly because it keeps on telling me im not logged in and its being slow and last i checked the search didn't work (find anything older then a day) and its a different format so i get confused and lost

Yea I had to log in like 5 times before it took

And putting the user info / avatar above the post = tons & tons of scrolling

On the left was better

Other than that, glad to see you're updating. Things look good. I'm sure the other little differences we'll get used to.

One thing I like better already is how it keeps threads in my user CP bolded until I read them. Will it keep unread threads bolded if I log out and come back? Now that would be frickin cool

i agree it needs to fit the whole screen, and the avatars should be put back on the left of posts.

That's what I'm saying. It's too much trouble trying to find the response with the avatar above the post, and all the sig stuff right below...My one little response took up the whole page!!
