Saw these Valeo wiper blades on tirerack.com. Who here has them and how well do they work? Worth the money?

Also, how long do they last? I don't mind spending the $40 per blade but they better last a lot longer than normal blades (I don't wanna be puttin out $80 for wiper blades every 6 months!).

Any way to do to GB on these to get them for cheaper?

I'll make a recommendation. I've never used anything but cheap blades (Anco) from local stores, but I use 303 Wiper Treatment on them. It's a conditioner for the rubber. Mine are going on 14 months now, and they make no noise, and never streak. Plus the snow doesn't stick to them. I'd highly recommend the treatment. I'm curious to see how long I can make one pair of blades last without sacrificing wiping quality.

Check out pep-boys, They have a similar product made by Trico (I think that's the brand at least) that I bought for my p5 (they didn't have the size for the rear blade). I've had them for a week but it hasn't rained yet, and I don't have washer nozzles so no testing has been done. I'll try to remember to post here when I give them a test.

I normally use AncoAdvantage but they didnt have my size when i need new ones and i ended up buyin Trico, and boy are teh suck. Ill never buy em again. ill stick with the anco.

Well, I installed the PIAA's last spring and they're still okay but next time I'll just stick to premium blades since I always use Rain-X and the Rain-X washer fluid. I havn't really noticed a difference by spending more.

Please update this post as time goes on, so that we can find out how they perform and how long they last.

Had them for about 3-4 weeks now after a 3 week backorder/delay from ultimatewiperblade.com. First they told me they were on backorder and would ship by April 1.......that came and went and I sent two nasty emails to them when I didn't hear an update from them. No one responded so I finally called around April 10 and talked to the owner. He said the person who responds to emails and was dealing with my order was out with a medical emergency, which I can understand, but that doesn't mean that your business should cease to function because ONE person it sick. Anyways, I got the blades a few days later and the never charged my credit card!! Maybe it was a mistake on their part, or maybe they did it on purpose to make up for the delay.

First off, they look really cool and unique. There are definitely no streaks of any kind on the windshield because there's no metal frame. I would expect no streaks from any new/premium wiper blade, so the true test will be to see how long they last without streaking - but I don't think they will ever streak because of the design. Other than that, they are normal wipers. At the corners of the windshield (where it curves more), the wipers sometimes don't fully come into contact with the surface -- I was disappointed by this.
