Nice!!!

JA you better ship that to Rogue fast.. He lives far away from you (lol2)

I'll have to consult the chef after my test today. I have no idea what flavor I'm going to pick. I'm leaning towards honey spice, but that chocolate with chambord also sounds tempting. Ms. JA may have to help me out :)

Let me know asap, as I have to ship the cake out this afternoon for you to get it tomorrow, or tomorrow for you to get it on Valentine's day...

(the honey spice one is deeeelish!)

$88.00 + the $50.00 straight donation isn't too bad! Thank you to everyone who donated!!! :D

This is BS. First ROTM, now this! I demand a re-count, damn it! lol

Uh, now I have to spend money on a gift. What to buy, what to buy.

I'm sure you had a plan B in case you didn't win the raffle...right? :p

Her birthday is on the 25th so I think I am going to combine her valentines and birthday. She wants a pug.

I won't be buying a pug. A pug is like a new kid. Meaning money, time, love, patience. Her and I really have neither to throw at it at the moment unfortunately. I bought her a ring a few months ago so jewelry is out. She doesn't eat chocolate, and flowers end up dying and are expensive. I am drawing blanks this year.

Does she like gardening/plants? You could always buy her a pretty bare-root rose to plant or maybe a rosemary plant? Something that will grow together with y'all?

Rosemary is cool:

Legend abounds around this lovely perennial known as the "herb of remembrance." It is said that rosemary will grow particularly well in gardens tended by strong-willed women.

She is not into gardening. I'm trying to convert her since I work in the field but I don't think she is going to understand the significance. I have bought her mother (my future mother-in-law) some perennials and annuals for her garden. Thanks for the suggestion though. This year will definitely be tough. I am throwing a surprise birthday party and dinner for her this year. I have to be creative now. I think there is something in that..

Cool! You do landscaping? :) I'm a happy girl when I'm gardening/planting flowers and herbs and such...

Hmmm. How about a nice charm bracelet with one charm that means something to you/her? Then you can add charms at different holidays/occasions?

Yeah I'll see. I'll bum around at the mall or something. Something will pop up. Yeah I work at a landscape firm doing design work and I enjoy doing hand's on when I am stressed or just wanting to be outside enjoying the weather. I love it.
