Urgent Help Please...Hardpipes/BOV

Before you look at the pic...yes it is kinda a ghetto setup cause it was supposed to get me to streetstyle and back efficiently but not look pretty. this is the only picture i could take cause my camera died right after the pic and i don't feel like AAA battery searching and yes I do clean my engine bay but we were stalling on main roads trying to adjust the BOV while it was raining.... a VERY long story...

haha and yes the tape on the intake is very cheap but it seemed to stay on there enough to hold on tomorrow...lol

(scratch)
wow cut that vacuum hose down !!! dont need much at all.. possible issue :) like sucking peanut butter thru a staw that is 3 foot long

haha as i was saying "GHETTO SETUP" until i got til tomorrow, hence my long disclaimer before the picture. I didn't think the length of the vacuum line would make that much of a difference... but yeah the time will come tomorrow. 1fast- i just used some industrial tape and a zip tie for the night but that is also being blocked in a better manner tomorrow (thats supposed to be blocked am i correct?). I think I now know why i shouldn't start projects at 8 o'clock when stores are closed.

well no it shouldnt be blocked it is meant to be recirculated but if it isn being used to recirculate you should make sure to have it air tight and blocked off

oh yeah, thanks a lot for all the help so far tonight...also if worse comes to work can i hook the stock turbo-intercooler pipe back up and run the dual setup til i make to a welder

so since I'm not recirc'ing for now just block it off... before i took the ziptie off that thing was pretty damn airtight

yea make sure it is air tight.. might try it with out blocking it off maybe fool the maf alittle

could you put a breather filter over the part that is supposed to be recirculated to on the injen? Would that help at all?

yeah we acctually thought about that but never gave it a try...i'm going to put the stock turbo-intercooler pipe on and run the dual setup and just go without a boost guage for a few hours...

New Setup

Hey this is my setup now...don't have my boost controller so should I tap into the BPV/Wastegate line for that? Anyways here is my setup and my Turbo-IC pipe is now at the welder getting the nipple welded on but could u guys check these pics for errors...i still get the turkey but I'm hoping that its because I haven't spent enough time with the BOV and the other hardpipe is missing...

oh yeah, sorry about the pic quality its from my camera but i think you can get a good idea of what i did...
